We had a really nice stay here. The host was warm and welcoming. Loved the quiet, isolated location - perfect for chilling out.

Maiernhof again and again! For us, there is no more pleasant stay in South Tyrol. We have been going there almost every year since 2005. We enjoy the wonderfully quiet location and pleasant temperature at 1,200 meters above sea level, the proximity to the forest with numerous hiking opportunities here and throughout the Ulten Valley. Nevertheless, Merano and Bolzano, as well as many cultural attractions, are relatively easy to reach. In 2025, we celebrated my 80th birthday with the Laimer family at the Mariolalm and have stayed there 20 times (10 of which with our dog). Hopefully, there will be more to come.

We spent a wonderful week at this dream accommodation in Lana and can only rave about it! From the moment we arrived, we could feel how much passion had been put into this old farmhouse. Everything has been modernized with attention to detail and a sense of aesthetics. Our apartment (Hausanger) was very large, stylishly furnished, and at the same time incredibly cozy, making us feel at home from the very first moment. This was exactly what we were looking for: a place where you can simply arrive and relax. The owners are wonderful people – so kind, helpful, and warm that you immediately feel welcome. The conversations with them (and with the other guests) also made our stay special. Another highlight was the trust fund: being able to get delicious coffee, wine, beer, or the farm's own delicacies like jam or juice at any time was simply fantastic – especially for starting the first morning. And then, of course, the pool – an absolute highlight! The view of the mountains is breathtaking, and it's a wonderful place to unwind. All in all, a place we'd love to return to. Thank you for such a wonderful time – we're already really looking forward to our next visit!
