We’ve been planning a trip to Tuscany for years and wanted it to be just right. I MORAIOLI was exactly what we hoped for. Online, it looks like the quintessential Tuscan farmhouse. It truly is! Renovated from a near ruin, every detail was carefully considered and designed. The setting, just below the medieval hamlet of Montebenichi, is incredibly gorgeous and gloriously quiet. You hear nothing but the birds and the (church) bells. That is, unless you decide to splash around in the immaculately kept pool. The gardens are well manicured, and the olive groves yield excellent oil. The location couldn’t be better. It’s within easy driving distance of many famous Tuscan towns. The owner, Fernando, is on site daily. He is attentive to every detail, in addition to being a genuinely warm and caring person. And all of this for a very reasonable price. We will be back!
