My wife and I spent nearly two months of the summer and autumn of 2024 at Burggarten Appartements. We stayed in apartment 8 on the 1st and 2nd floors and apartment 2 on the ground floor and found both to be outstanding. The owners have made fantastic choices in selectively bringing aspects of this classic building up to modern standards (the bathrooms and kitchen and innovative in-wall heating to name a few) while retaining wonderful classic features like old rough-hewn ceiling beams, wood and natural stone floors, brick and stone walls. Materials and design are first-class and layouts very functional which is a marvel given the constraints of older construction. The village of Neuleiningen is also fabulous - castle ruins, cobbled streets, and half-timbered houses all perched on a hill-top overlooking the Rhein River plain with Mannheim off toward the horizon. Finally, at least as impressive as the apartments and their location is the proprietress herself. Ines presents a level of professional, yet warm and personalized service that is very rare, rounding out a perfect stay. I can, without hesitation, give my highest recommendation to Burggarten Apartements!
